- A ferrule is used for indoor use on wood poles.
- A spindle is used for outdoor use on in-ground or wall mounted flag poles.
- When using an indoor aluminum pole with a top adapter already installed, a ferrule or spindle is not required.
- 7 1/2" height, 1 3/4" width spear is available in either gold or silver finishes (gold shown).
- 10" height, 2 3/4" width spear is available in gold only.
